On Saturday, September 20, 2008, people and organizations form across the country will join hands and converge in Washingotn D.C. for the National SOS WALK 2008. This walk represents our communiteis' continued support towards finding a cure and advanced research/treatment for Sickle Cell disease. The National SOS Walk 2008 will be an historic inaugural event. Several states will host a walk to highlight awareness and educationto fight Sickle Cell disease. Through corporate, organization and individual sponsorship, let us demonstrate what caring and compassion can accomplish.
